What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. When you submit the contact form or a review request, we receive the name, email address, company details, and any free-text message you provide.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are generated automatically by the act of visiting any website and are used for security and operational purposes only.
Why we process it, and on what basis
We process the information you send in order to respond to your enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, to carry out that engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and — once an engagement begins — the performance of a contract. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to twenty-four months, after which they are deleted. Records relating to an engagement are retained for the period required by French commercial and tax law. Server logs are retained for a short operational period by our host.
Processors and transfers
This site is hosted and its forms are processed by Netlify, Inc. (United States). Email correspondence is handled by our email provider. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to inquiries@ateliersavant.com. We will respond within one month.
If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
